Isn’t That Good!

Who can bring an accusation against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies. Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us - Romans 8:33-34

A young Corrie Ten Boom was hiking with her disabled friend who confessed to her she was afraid to come before the Judgement seat of God. “Who will speak for me?” her friend asked. “Well what does the Bible say?” Corrie replied. Searching Romans she found our verse above and exclaimed, “That is good! Jesus Christ is our Judge and our Advocate! Now I am not afraid anymore, He will plead us Not Guilty!” Later on Corrie visited her friend in the hospital, and found her relaxed despite the prognosis. She asked her friend, “are you frightened?” “I am not at all afraid, for, you know, my Judge is the Advocate and my Advocate is the Judge. I am not afraid  because it is Jesus who loves me and I love Him!”

Do you sometimes fear when you think of the Judgment Day of God, where we all have to appear whether we believe it or not? Read your Bible! Jesus is your Judge and your Advocate. Isn’t that good? We have noting to fear - Corrie Ten Boon

Friend, as a Christian if you have believed and received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you have nothing to fear because He has pardoned you of all sin! Isn’t that good!
